Job Description:

Our client, a downtown investment management firm requires a Sr. Marketing Associate to join their team on a 11 month maternity contract. Working in conjunction with the US marketing team, this role will focus on the execution of marketing campaigns and programs to drive brand awareness and demand supporting the ongoing development and maintenance of the firm’s Canadian institutional brand and intermediary marketing initiatives. Utilize strong communication and organizational skills while multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment.


  • Collaborate with the Senior Canadian Marketing Manager, the global marketing team, and cross-functional business stakeholders to execute integrated marketing programs and multi-faceted events. Define business objectives and develop briefs, communication plans and deliverables.
  • Build strong internal partnerships with the members of the Institutional Distribution and Sales team and colleagues across all other business units.
  • Function as primary event manager, coordinating all hosted and sponsored events, and leading the development and dissemination of relevant deliverables, communications, project updates, and status reports.
  • Create and distribute emails (e.g. event invites, newsletters, thought leadership and other digital communications), and coordinate large email distribution lists with internal CRM team.
  • Build, implement and assess reporting metrics to measure the effectiveness of campaigns.
  • Support Social Media efforts in region, as required.
  • Maintain marketing calendar of events, communications, and activities; ensure content is updated on Intranet.
  • Manage the compliance and contract review process through completion.
  • Manage the translation process and assist with content management and merchandising.
  • Perform website maintenance and coordinate timely web uploads to distribute content online.
  • Work on ad hoc projects to support other regional marketing teams as necessary.


  • Bachelors’ degree with emphasis in marketing or communications.
  • 4+ years of marketing experience.
  • Highly organized and detail oriented, self-motivated and strong work ethic.
  • Ability to handle multiple, competing priorities and projects at one time and execute quality output under tight deadlines.
  • Innovative thinker with the ability to independently as well as collaborate in a team environment.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong command of Microsoft Office and prior experience using a CRM, content management systems, Adobe campaign and analytics (not mandatory).
  • Quick thinker and ability to work in a demanding fast paced environment.
  • Ability to adapt quickly and shift priorities based on unexpected business demands.
