Recruitment Coordinator Internship

Job Description:

We are currently seeking an ambitious co-op student and/or a recent graduate for a Recruitment Coordinator Internship. You will be responsible for assisting in sourcing candidates, scheduling appointments, conducting interviews, performing resume updates and other duties as required.

Responsibilities:

  • Source applicants for permanent, contract and temporary positions as per specific role requirements via job postings, LinkedIn, social media, researching and connecting with community groups, colleges, specialized social media groups, and other outside the box strategies
  • Capture and maintain accurate documentation for applicants and recruiting activities
  • Conduct phone screen interviews and coordinate meetings between applicants and the team
  • Conduct background checks and reference checks
  • Ad hoc duties in coordination with the team such as resume editing/formatting, filing and reception coverage

Qualifications:

  • Intermediate experience in Microsoft Office Suite (particularly Word, Excel, and Outlook)
  • High attention to detail
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Exemplary communication, writing and customer service skills
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
