Job Description:

Our client located in North York fabricates and installs granite, marble & quartz stones and tiles in both the residential & commercial markets. With hundreds of perfect installations we have built an enviable track record in the industry, making us one of the most sought after elite fabricators and installers in Canada. They are looking for a dynamic and energetic Office Coordinator to join their team.


  • Interpret project drawings, specifications, proposals and other documentation
  • Produce shop drawings
  • Complete a full quantity take-off of all labour, equipment and materials required to complete the project as per contract specifications to ensure accuracy of pricing
  • Prepare cost proposals and final tender documents for submission to client in order to meet contract deadline submission requirements Prepare estimates for bids and RFPs
  • Maintain tendering process and set up cost monitoring and reporting systems/procedures
  • Attend pre-tender site meetings when necessary
  • Assist in the coordination of projects and preparation of construction schedules
  • Maintain files and records of work
  • Perform other related duties as assigned


  • At least 3 years of experience in residential construction estimating
  • Post-Secondary Diploma or Certificate
  • Proficiency in bidding process
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD, MS Office, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Experience and exposure to project management procedures
  • Driver’s license
  • Ability to concurrently manage multiple tenders
  • Excellent organizational, planning and time management skills with attention to detail and deadlines
  • Excellent communication (both written and verbal) and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent documentation skills
  • Ability to work in a multi-discipline team environment including vendors, consultants and clients
  • Responsible attitude and leadership qualities
  • Self-motivated and strong negotiator
