Job Description:

Our client, a financial services company requires a Digital Marketing Manager to join their national marketing team. They are seeking someone with a knack for technology and implementing new programs and applications, who enjoys driving outcomes with creative out-of-the-box thinking. You are a strategic and forward thinker but also understand the importance of making incremental changes. You are passionate about your work and maintaining strong relationships among colleagues, managers, and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

  • Advance integrated digital marketing campaigns from concept to execution and monitor budgets.
  • Enhance and amplify awareness of our brand.
  • Work with outside vendors to implement tools and keep to timelines.
  • Design and maintain the new website development and oversee all customer-facing digital communication channels to increase brand loyalty and awareness.
  • Utilize metrics and produce reports that measure performance such as: website traffic, digital body language, target audiences, ROI, and KPIs; use these results to make informed recommendations.
  • Manage multiple projects and collaborate with other departments.
  • Work with the marketing team to brainstorm new and innovative growth strategies.
  • Work with key stakeholders to update and improve their digital presence.
  • Identify latest trends and technologies within marketing relevant to the asset management industry.

Qualifications:

  • Experience:  You have a minimum of 10 years of digital marketing experience which includes a minimum of 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Knowledge:  You have completed an Undergraduate Degree in Marketing or similar; asset management knowledge; and proficiency in verbal and written French (an asset).
  • Tech Savvy:  You understand the fundamentals of SEO, marketing automation tools, CRM platforms, CMS (WordPress, Sitefinity), web analytic software (Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager), and HTML and CSS basics.  You have above and beyond knowledge on the use of these tools, you are able to translate data into insights, and understand system integrations.
  • Content Marketing:  You have fundamental understanding of content marketing techniques and best practices.
  • Social Media:  You have experience in utilizing social platforms and optimizing paid and organic media initiatives.
  • Leadership & Communication: You have proven leadership qualities and effective communication and presentation skills with the ability to improvise. You can run with a project independently but create consensus throughout the process.
  • Creativity: You have a creative mind with an eye for detail, ideas come naturally and you have proven it through your successful track record.
