Media Finance Administrator

Job Description:

Our client, a media agency located downtown requires a Finance Administrator to join their team. This is a temporary opportunity and they are hoping to have someone start ASAP. This is an exciting opportunity to work in the capacity of an administrative position that is a critical part of the team. The role is to ensure accurate and timely invoicing and payment for all media.

Responsibilities:

  • Accurate inputting and maintaining of media for assigned clients and cross checking with Budget Control Reports (BCR)
  • Generating reports and issuing to planners for approval
  • Discrepancy resolution working in collaboration with the planning team as well as media outlets such as TV and radio stations
  • Responsible for coordination of trafficking with outsourced 3rd party, including getting estimates to put on MPA and processing trafficking invoices
  • Tracking of buy briefs, PAs, CPCs
  • Verifying campaign delivery
  • Pulling Budget Control Reports
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 1-3 years’ experience
  • University or College degree/diploma in Media, Marketing, Business, or related field
  • Intermediate to expert with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Proficient with DDS is an asset
  • Knowledge of account reconciliations and understanding of financial concepts is key
  • Demonstrates a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Self-starter with a can-do attitude
  • Ability to manage multiple projects
  • Strong ability to follow-up on tasks
  • Works well in a team setting
  • Superior written and oral communication skills
  • Demonstrates professional communication skills with suppliers and co-workers
