Corporate Legal Assistant

Our client, a boutique real estate and corporate law firm situated in North York is seeking a Corporate Legal Assistant to support a Corporate Partner of the firm.
The position will require someone with some experience dealing with private corporations, preferably 5 or more years. The person will be responsible for preparing documentation for such activities as: incorporation, amalgamations, organizations, share and asset purchases/sales, minute book updates, government filings, business searches and registrations. The person will work in a team environment with experienced corporate clerks for support and training. In addition, there are more typical administrative duties such as correspondence, document preparation and billing.
Three to five years of corporate Legal Assistant experience dealing with private corporations, strong writing skills and attention to detail.
