Job Description:

Our client, a residential real estate company located downtown requires a Leasing Coordinator to join their team. Reporting to the Branch Manager, this role is the first point of contact, representing the company to the clients and acting as a liaison with tenants. The role requires a very polished and professional demeanor and appearance.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain professionalism and positive can-do attitude at all times
  • Understand the product and market (apartment, property, neighbourhood, demographic) to better serve clients
  • Prepare Leasing Report on Yardi for availability, pricing, and lettable dates of units, and note upgrades and renovations
  • Update vendor marketing sites (ViewIt, Craigslist, Kijiji, RentSeeker) for new listings, close old listings, and make adjustments for live accuracy
  • Schedule for new photography of apartments, property exteriors, and common areas
  • Promptly respond to inquiries made via phone, e-mails, text messages and provide accurate information
  • Qualify strong clients and arrange for a viewing and tour
  • Provide to clients First Class showing – perform a thorough check prior to meeting the client, prepare all paperwork, and ensure all aspects of the apartment and property are neat and tidy
  • Work closely with other Branch Team Members – Property Manager, Facilities Coordinator, and Construction Managers to ensure First Class apartments and service
  • Work closely with other Leasing Team Members to refer clients to other properties that may better suit their need
  • Follow up with clients in a timely manner
  • Prepare seamless application packages in an organized and thorough manner, and submit for approval and processing
  • Follow up with and answer any questions and inquiries clients may have to ensure comfortable and smooth transition

Qualifications:

  • 1+ year of sales and leasing experience in real estate
  • Class G Driver’s License
  • Daily access to a well-functioning and safe vehicle
  • Some or completion of post-secondary education
  • Real estate license a plus
  • Able to work independently and also in a team
  • Personality fit with the culture – personable, energetic, proactive, open-minded
  • Strong time management skills – able to prioritize and multi-task
  • Exemplary proficiency in English
  • Excellent customer service attitude and mindset
  • Motivated – a self-starter
  • Great communication – able to relay correct information, listen, and relate
