Job Description:

Our client specializes end-to-end office leasing services which include searching for commercial office spaces, negotiating the lease and construction of the interior leasehold premises. They are seeking a Project Manager to join their growing team. Reporting to the Managing Partner, the Project Manager will be responsible for planning, scheduling and overseeing projects, ensuring they’re completed on-time, to an exceptionally high standard of quality.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and direct construction projects from conception to completion
  • Review the project in-depth to schedule deliverables and estimate costs
  • Coordinate and direct construction workers and subcontractors
  • Assist the project team in monitoring compliance with building and safety regulations
  • Review work progress on daily basis, ensuring that contractual conditions of performance and quality are met
  • Produce internal and external project status reports
  • Plan ahead to prevent problems and resolve any emerging ones
  • Assist in obtaining permits and licences
  • Analyse, manage and mitigate risks

Qualifications:

  • An educational background in construction management, architecture, engineering or a related field
  • 2-4 years of experience managing or coordinating construction projects – particularly commercial interior renovations and build-outs
  • Knowledge of construction management processes, means and methods
  • Knowledge of building products, construction details and relevant rules, regulations and quality standards
  • Solid understanding of the construction process
  • Skilled user of MS Project, or similar software and project management tools (Gantt charts)
  • Outstanding attention to detail
  • Able to look ahead, plan, and see the big picture
  • Excellent time and project management skills
